~On the bottom lashline, I applied Hepcat and Bitten and darkened the outer corner with Corrupt ~I applied a teal eyeliner on my waterline ~On the browbone and inner corner I applied MAC Ricepaper ~Then to darken the outer corner a little bit for more definition, I applied MUG Corrupt and Mocha together in a pointy crease brush and blended it out with Bitten I used a wet brush to intensify the color even more. I applied a teal in order for the blue glitters on our main eyeshadow to stand out ~On the middle of the lid I first applied a teal colored cream shadow (Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tenacious Teal). ~Then I applied MUG Bitten (burgundy matte) on my outer corner and inner corner pushing it towards the crease leaving a blank space on the middle, I applied more to darken until I was happy with it ~Then I applied MAC Hepcat (pinky purple) with a slight denser crease brush all around my crease from outer edge to inner corner – Hepcat is a discontinued shade but any pinky purple shade will do ~After priming, I started with MakeUpGeek (MUG) Creme Brule (soft brown matte) on my upper crease and crease as a transition shade My bestie gave me a bunch of the eyeshadows as a birthday pressie and I can’t wait to get my hands on more! I’m also wearing one of their lippiestix on my lips today…keep reading to find out the name! ![]() I really hope this review about these lovelies has been helpful.Today I’m rocking this grungy smokey eye with this stunning metallic blue and purple duo-chrome eyeshadow on the lid….I’m head over heels for this eyeshadow…it’s from Colourpop Cosmetics and it’s called BAE! Totally appropriate considering how I feel about it! And can I just say, these eyeshadows are incredible, they are like a hybrid between a cream and powder eyeshadow and they almost feel wet to the touch. Also my shades are D8W8 (golden cappucino) for L’Oreal and NC42 for MAC. Lastly, talking about the prices the L’Oreal True Match costs INR 799 and the MAC Prolong Wear costs INR 3300. Personally I use the L’Oreal True Match Foundation often as I claim to be a dewy finish lover.I use the MAC Prolong Wear rarely when I only need full coverage. It’s up to you to decide what’s more important to you when wearing a foundation. So as you can see, both foundations are just in their own way. I couldn’t really prefer one among these two as they are just different and not actually L’oreal foundation is a dupe for the MAC foundation. For someone like me with dry skin and is a dewy lover this foundation is perfect. Now this foundation isn’t full coverage, so it doesn’t claim to be full which is good. The best thing about the L’Oreal True Match is it is very dewy and also the consistency is low compared to MAC Prolong Wear which indeed gives a natural finish. Secondly, the L’Oreal True Match is almost a dupe of the MAC Prolong Wear in an affordable way. It’s also highly aware that I am a wearing foundation. I also find that this foundation oxidises about 1-2 shades darker which is helpful for me, as I have a dark skin tone. However, I still wouldn’t call this a FULL coverage foundation, as I can still see scarring and, I’m not sure whether to call them beauty spots or dark spots, they are not being covered or I should give an another layer instead. It doesn’t breakup and go patchy and does give almost full coverage. ![]() I do find that this foundation has better staying power through a long time as it says. You may or may not know that I have been struggling with finding a good full coverage foundation for my dry acne prone skin.įirstly, lets talk about the MAC Prolong Wear foundation which a quite great product for full coverage.
